A. Preface
Regretfully, we witness the world of which oppression, injustice and poverty has become an integral part. No other historical period was so full of acts of killing, crime and injustice; acts worse than what had been committed by historically infamous criminals and bloodthirsty rulers. More significant is the fact that these acts, especially in past few decades, have been committed by those who claim to be pioneers of justice, freedom and equality. Evil powers have joined to exploit freedom-seeker nations, one after the other; and wherever they failed to take their malicious advantage of a nation, they appointed a puppet to rule. The will of the Almighty, however, prescribes that nations grow awakened, one after another, forming resistance cores here and there. It’s very well known that the only way to resist against evil powers is to create a resistance front out of individual resistance cores, to demonstrate a unity. Bitter, breaking news of global imperialism waging war against oppressed nations is an everyday issue of our age. Hence, a group of Muslim youth, taking inspiration from the teachings of Quran, decided to move up as Unified Ummah, because they swear by return to Fitrat (the common, innocent self of the humanity) as the only way to reach unity and resist against evil powers. International Union of Unified Ummah is a grassroots NGO which aims to take a step, however small, towards a world without oppression and injustice, and to encourage Muslim nations throughout the world to take part in this direction.
B. Goals
· Formation of a popular, global front against the global arrogance and imperialism: humane teachings of Islam insist on complete elimination of oppression, for each and every human. On this basis, the union aims to cooperate with many anti-imperialism lines so as to form a powerful front consisting of freedom-seeker nations of the world
· Realizing the unity among all Muslims to carry out joint actions: historical division among Muslims has proved useful for only one beneficiary, the common enemy of Muslim nation. However, Islam offers significant foundation on which a principal unity, not just a political one, can be built up. Hence, the union aims to materialize such unity, trying to encourage more meaningful cooperation
· Liberation of Quds: in terms of human rights issues, Palestine problem is the most severe case of today world. Global imperialism gave birth to a malicious complex in the region which does not hesitate a moment to commit whatever crimes and tyrannies against Palestinians. Freedom-seekers of the world should pay a special attention to this issue.
C. Activities
· Holding Conferences and Meetings concerning the fields of interest
· Cooperation in first Asian convoy to break Gaza blockade: Our NGO was one of the main founder of 1st Asian initiative for Gaza called as Asian caravan to Gaza and took 300 metric tons of medicines as well as food to Gaza
· Participation in Global March to Jerusalem (GMJ): Our NGO is one of the members of GMJ International central committee (ICC) and played a significant role in forming GMJ as well as GMJ-Asian caravan
· Running the resistance film sharing center: www.VIDUBE.com
· Holding annual workshops on the issue concerning Islamic Ummah
· Organizer of the 1st conference of world free cyber activists and member of Association of free cyber activits
· Running humanitarian Aid activities in Pakistan, Gaza and Somalia; Our NGO collected 200 000 USD during 2011 Ramadan, for the famine stricken people of Somalia as well as fund raising for the poor people of Gaza and Pakistan
