The Indian caravan for the "Global March to Jerusalem", is all set to depart from New Delhi on the 9th of March 2012.
We, as Indian's & as Asian's are committed to the freedom of historic Palestine, with Jerusalem as the capital.
During the course of the last 6 months & ever since our return from the first ever collective "Asian Convoy to Gaza". we have held numerous meetings across various cities across India to discuss the need to rebuild the Palestine Solidarity movement in our country.
We have received an excellent response from various social movements, mass organizations & important personalities. Thus the issue of Palestine is once again beginning to strike deep roots into the agenda of the social movements & the political parties.
The GMJ is being widely discussed across the social movements & in that, the GMJ-Asian Convoy has evoked a lot of interest & is a topic of widespread discussion. A number of programs are being organized across the country in preparation for our convoy. Moreover the 30th of March is now becoming a date of major focus & mobilization & thus the process of galvanizing & activating the grassroots for the cause of Palestine is truly well underway.
